Tom Cigarran

Having served as co-founder, CEO and Chairman of some of healthcare’s most iconic companies (Healthways, AmSurg), Tom has successfully scaled small domestic entities into international enterprises with locations in countries such as Germany, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Guam. His successful endeavors in these companies were underscored by having served as a director at additional institutions such as International Clinical Laboratories, Inc., Corporate Family Solutions, Inc., Clintrials Research, Inc. (CCRO), Meretek Diagnostics, Inc. and Genderm, Inc. In addition to healthcare, he has also been instrumental in repositioning and strengthening the Nashville Predator’s Ice Hockey Team, having served as both Chairman and remains involved as co-owner. Known for his unwavering commitment to education, Mr. Cigarran has also served on the Alignment Nashville Operating Board, the Haiti Mission Education Committee, the Advisory Board of the Owen School Healthcare MBA Program, and was an acting member of the Boards of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Harpeth Hall School. He is Immediate Past Chair of the Nashville Health Care Council. He holds a BS from Villanova University and an MBA from New York University.
